This
first hole is a straightforward par 4, offering a good chance
of getting your round off to a sound start. Your first drive
should be aimed between the two small mounds that flank the fairway,
where a small fairway bunker on the right is the only real danger. From the centre of the fairway a lofted club
will allow your ball to pitch short and run onto this traditional
flat links green - take care however to avoid the steep faced
bunkers guarding the front of the green as getting up and down
is not easy and could ruin your start. |
