17th Hole
The homeward stretch is now started with a long par 5 – over 600 yards off the championship tee’s. Out of bounds lines the right of the hole and ruins many a score card. The 17th is a real 3 shot par 5 and the new bunkers 70 yards short of the green need to be avoided. A long green can lengthen the hole further and is protected again by front bunkers.

Professional's Tip
Keep your ball left off the tee, you will still be in play and have a chance of a par. The out of bounds is like a magnet and is to be avoided at all costs. Lay up with your second shot and this will afford you a simple pitch.
